and know that you have taken every step with pride.
the embrace of a warm cuddle.
the smell of good food cooking
and the expectation of guests.
the sound of children playing outside
on a finally sunny day.
the hope for all the joys to come.

in the closet

for christmas
i asked santa
for a closet organizer.
for president's day,
i got the time to put it up
(with a little help from my hubby...
okay, a lot of help).
then, i got to spend
magical hours
sorting and organizing
and making it my own.
the best part is
there's still room to grow-
so i can go shopping. :-)

another day at home has left me with the drive to nest.

i just found out i have tomorrow off too,
