early dismissal

early dismissal.
another inch of snow.
quiet afternoon.
snow falling softly. slowly.
snow on the backs of geese.
incense burning.
enveloped in a good book.
caught up on my to do list.
sewing on a wednesday.
new matching silverware (from my generous mother) filling my drawer.
soup warming on the stove.
american idol anticipation.
warm blankets.
clean laundry.
ripening plums.
