with mom here for a visit, we went to our newest friends', S and R's, house with our newish friends, R and D.
we had a ton of fun splashing about in the pool, diving for bottle caps, and having a belly flop contest.
easton loved the pool, the attention, and the other dogs running around.
beer, strong strawberry daquiris, burgers on the grill, hot, humid air, cool water, 5 dogs, waterfront view surrounding us.
we are so thrilled to be making such wonderful friends and having good times in the newness of summer.
other highlights this week-end included:
bocce with friends and music and beer
listening to the nearby frogs, watching the fireflies, moon bathing
crabs and old bay
goat cheese
italian ice
shopping at consignment shops, thrift stores, antique shops and shopping without buying anything new
cute summer dresses
a new book shelf and side table
a beautiful tapestry for the bedroom wall
wandering the streets of local small towns
spending time with my mom.
